Hi, my name is Andrew Howard, living in Eston in the suburbs of Middlesbrough based in the North East of England, and currently a member of Durham photographic Society. Living here I have access to vast amounts of photographic opportunities including the North Yorkshire Moors, the North East coastline, urban, industrial landscapes and even steam trains!!. I enjoy taking photographs of just about everything. For me it's capturing what pleases me, getting out and about either by myself or with friends of mine, my main photographic companions being Mark Petherbridge and Rick Reed..
I have always had an interest in photography but was never in a position to afford the equipment I wished. However, months after a serious accident involving my son, I one day came to the conclusion that one never knows what is around the corner, and so visited my local Jessops that same day in my lunch break with credit card in hand, and returned back to work emerged with a Sony set up. I have stuck with Sony and currently use the Sony A77ii .
